Finally Replacing the Bathroom Sink

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting Suncoast Scribe!

Last weekend I went to a couple of home improvement stores to look at bathroom sinks. I looked both at the standard round sinks I can just drop into the existing counter and vanity, as well as the combination sink/counter marble vanity tops. I would have to have the vanity top special ordered, so that it did not have the splash guard in the back. That could put me in the mindset of just keeping the current, not-so-attractive vanity top and just putting in the new self rimming sink.

It’s an old porcelain number and it has begun to rust around the drain and the overflow. That’s just icky and it is a safety issue. I’ve scraped my hands while swishing out he sink on more than one occasion. I want new faucets for the sink as well.

Now that I know the basic price range in the local stores, I’m ready to shop online a little and see if I can get a better price on the sink by ordering off the net. Often you find more variety shopping online and can take advantage of being able to price compare within minutes.

I’m ordering this weekend so we can get it in next week.  Gigi’s godparents are visiting this month and I want it to look nice by then.
