Just Get the DNA Test
Oddly, the headlines about the John Edwards extramarital affair case have moved OUT of the top news items quicker than most stories. The man must still have some sort of pull.
But, I digress. My post is simply to ponder why in the world Rielle Hunter is saying she will not seek DNA testing to determine whether or not her child was fathered by Edwards, even though just Friday Edwards commented that he is “truly hopeful” that a paternity test will be done in order to stop the rumors.
Hunter dais Friday that Andrew Young is the father, a fact that Young admitted. Young is a former Edwards campaign aide who is married.
As quick and inexpensive as DNA tests are these days, it seems only logical that Hunter should allow one to be performed. Of course she is in a pickle either way, since both men who are in question are married and were married when she slept with them.
On a tangent – I have zero respect for a woman who will date or sleep with a man who is married, even if he is separated. It’s not just an ethical issue, but also a question of self esteem. Ladies, love yourselves – don’t stoop to messing with married men.
