Hose Pots and Other Cool Stuff
I’m not a born shopper. In fact, I’m not a fan of shopping at all. And, that has very little to do with the actual act of shopping. I love spending my cash of great deals, great luxury, and things to make my life easier, livelier, and more full of beauty.
I just cannot stand crowds, and loud kids running uncontrolled around stores, and rude employees, and dirty public restrooms. The list goes on, and on. So, when the internet entered the world and made shopping something you could do from the comfort of your home, I was a happy camper.
Plus, being able to shop online has spoiled me in terms of availability to cool stuff. I know “cool stuff” is a pretty general term, but think of it this way: if you are on a mission to decorate your house and your options are stores like JC Penney and Pier 1 Imports unless you want to spend weeks schlepping from boutique to boutique in far flung locations, then being able to surf manically from website to website and find absolutely anything in the world is like winning the happiness lottery.
All of this is to say that I want to share one of those “cool stuff” sites with you. Just take a look at Upside Living and I think everything I have said up to this point will be crystal clear. In amongst the clever wind chimes and the fire pits, I found the most perfect item for my yard. Just today I was wondering how in the world to make my garden hoses into anything but an eyesore (I have to use them daily down here in dry, hot Florida). I had never heard of a hose pot before, and maybe that means I have been living under a rock without rally knowing I was living user a rock, but I’m beyond thrilled with my find.
I love love love unique finds like this.
