Just as with anything else, certain drinks have rises and falls in popularity. Remember how the Cosmopolitan had a little resurgence in popularity during the whole Sex and the City phenomenon?
Now seems to be the time of tequila. In fact, there is an entire website dedicated to the tequila renaissance — The Tequila Guy. The site chronicles the best of the best in tequila, including an expansive history and fact-a-thon about the juice of the blue agave plant, a catalog of most of the tequilas on the market and ratings for each, recipes, chat and related news. It’s a world unto itself and Tequila is King.
Seriously, if you love good tequila, you should really check out the site. It’s not only informative, it’s a blast. I’m particularly fond of the Ask The Tequila Guy section.
