Are You a Rookie Investor?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting Suncoast Scribe!

Then, take the Rookie Challenge.

The New Wave of Social Networking
By now, unless you have been living under a proverbial rock, you know what social networking and chances are, you are a member of at least one online community, like MySpace or Facebook. Social networking sites are popping up all over the internet and the new wave takes it a step further with sites that are focused on a particular interest.

MyWallSt.net is a financial social networking community for people who are interested in the world of investing you will find professional side-by-side with rookie traders, and even those just timidly testing the waters.

Win $1000
You’ve heard of Fantasy Football? MyWallSt.net has a new fantasy investing game and you could win $1000 just by giving it a try. The rookie challenge game might be fantasy-based, but that $1000 I mentioned is real cash. Play the Rookie Challenge and you will be in the running each and every week to win the money.

How It Works
Registration is free, and so is participation. You can trade stocks from real companies using virtual money. It’s fun and it lets you get the hang of the world of trading in a no-risk format. The challenge comes when users are ranked. Play and see if you can achieve top standing. You start off with $100,000.00 of virtual money to invest. Each transaction is charged a virtual $20 fee.

Check it out. I’m already there.

We did this in junior high school.
I would be a millionaire by now.
We started with one thousand and by the end of the term I had made about 100K.

I’m gonna do it for sure.
