Spammers love good page rank
Get a little Google page rank and the spammers come en masse. My PR was only updated a few weeks ago and I immediately saw a rise int eh level of spam comments. In the past, most of the spam was slyer, more underhanded. Now I am just getting the typical bot-generated crap.
I suppose it is finally time to install a little spam wizard thing. I really do like to hand moderate, because most of the spam plug-ins miss perfectly good posts form time to time. But, time is valuable and I think I want to do all I can to maximize mine.
