If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting Suncoast Scribe!
There has been a lot of controversy in the blogging community as to whether girl bloggers can be power bloggers. Of course, I am solidly on the side of YES, girl bloggers rock. Women bring a depth of perspective to blogging that can never be duplicated. As time goes on, I see more girls powering along with fantastic content and unique points of view.
Today, Roberta started a brand new designation: Rockin’ Girl Bloggers
I’m going to tag 5 awesome girl bloggers who I love reading. If you’ve been tagged, just grab the Rockin’ Girl Bloggers badge and tag five more powerful woman bloggers you know. Pay it forward and the phenomenon will keep on going and going.
- The Buzz Queen
- Manilla Mom
- Vegan Momma
- Jenny Up the Hill
- Karen, at the The Pond
- The Sassy Southerner
If you’re either a guy or your name isn’t on this list, it doesn’t mean you can’t participate. Just grab the badge and tell a girl blogger out there that she rocks!!
I still say this is a great way to acknowledge great women bloggers out there.
Hey cool! Thanks for the tag – what an awesome way to recognize the rockin girl bloggers that I read! Good god I don’t think I can pick just five!
I agree Women bloggers can be as good.
This might be a cliche but I don’t it comes down to gender – it comes down to attitude. Whoever said women can’t be power bloggers?!?
John — I’ll have to find the blogs later today. Mostly it boiled down to an attack on the “mommy blogger” subset.
[...] One post that Angie wrote that caught my eye was about female bloggers. Roberta is encouraging bloggers to tag 5 female bloggers that they enjoy reading or who are Rockin’ Girl Bloggers. [...]
Oh Thanks! I just found this! lol!!
I am so shamefully late but thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Not only will I pass this on, but I’ll pass on the whole list, as well, from Roberta’s blog.
Let’s rock on!!!
