It was $3.10 this morning at a little before 6 a.m., but they were out of everything except diesel. On my way to pick up Gigi this afternoon it was $3.30 (still pretty good), but again the long line and we had a doc appt to get to quickly. I will look again in the morning.

Thanks for figuring that math for me!

$2.89? Terrific! But whether it is worth waiting in line or going out of your way depends on the savings total weighed against the other things you're doing. I see that Tampa/Clearwater area has an average of about $3.49/gal now, so if you're filling a 20 gal tank you could save $12! Probably worth going early or waiting in line a little while. But now you also have a new job and other errands, and if you end up going out for fast food because of the wait, or driving out of your way, well, those savings can disappear pretty fast. I use gasbuddy.com to look for the least expensive station that is not out of my way and try to combine it with work trips or part of an errand. My car is small, only a 10 gallon tank, so it isn't usually worthwhile trying to save a few cents, if it takes me out of my way or takes already limited precious time. :)
