I just downloaded a pair of free passes to see an advance screening of the animated feature film Fly Me to the Moon next week in Tampa. My sister got a pair as well, so hopefully we can manage it so we go together with our kids.

This is the first time I have successfully got free screening tickets on the FilmMetro.com site. I found out about the site from my dear friend, Priscilla. It seems like she is able to get her hands on them often, but every time I receive a reminder e-mail from the site, the upcoming screenings are already “sold out”. This time around I just stayed up and made sure I was online when the tickets were released at midnight (central time). That did the trick.

If you are not already signed up at FilmMetro.com, do so. A pair of tickets to see a major film before it opens is always a real gem.
